I've managed to catch fish on 4 out of 5 times out this year.. and that's wicked good for me. I've already caught more this year then all of last year, and I did that in one 2.5 hour streach Sunday. Nothing of size yet, it's eirther 10 inches or 18-20 nothing in between or over. Except my friend picked one up Sunday that was pushing 28. Clousers or hollow fleyes, that's the only 2 flies I've needed. Hope everyone else is finding them... if not get out there! I'm searching for some fish over 20"... but I'll still have fun catching the smaller ones until then.

Peter

Last two hours of the incoming have been good along the beaches-some morning feeds. Bigger bass are in the mix up here but moreso in Scarborough and around the Saco. 4-530am have been pretty prime regardless of tide. I have used sparse stuff on a sinking tip line with a 7 ft 20lb level leader. Google rays fly...super effective

For me its been the last 2 or 3 of outgoing, time of day hasn't mattered even in full sun, further south then you mentioned. Sparse small clousers fished on an intermediate or even better for my friend who has a full sink. All small fish this morning, under 12". I'll have to hit some beaches next time and give that a try. I'm familiar with a rays fly, like a clousers without lead eyes.
