Anyone out there have any guesses on when the stripers will arrive in southern Maine this year? I'm getting the itch for some saltwater fishing this year...

In the Freeport area, I'd suggest a date of May 19...might be a tad early given the cool conditions so far this spring. Still worth trying though!

Memorial Day was always my bet when I lived closer to the ocean/ had time to chase stripers. I haven't wet a line in saltwater in eight years now. I need to get back there.

May 15th. That has been my first striper in Maine for several years now.

Thanks for the help! Looking at being in the york/wells area in early June so that should work out nicely.
