Fished the other morning and picked up a few schoolies pretty far north. Caught fish on a hollow tied herring, chartreuse mackeral, and a very sparse Rays fly in olive/yelow/white. Probably head somewhere this weekend... still in search of a fish over 20" this year.

That's great to know, Peter. More opportunities for a great catch. :)

Anybody find that November striper this year?

Haven't seen one. Usual spots have shown zero.

I'm willing to bet they're still around if you know where to look. I caught one December 24th a few years back while looking for a sea-run brown in southern Maine estuary. The weather was cooler then than we've had this fall.

I'm betting they are too but scarce; warmer river water would be my guess. Open ocean water temp has dropped quite a bit with the recent offshore winds, guessing the browns are around; I've heard a couple reports......
