Aside from engine issues on the S.S. FFIM -- which are now (mostly) fixed -- this year's been pretty good on the salt I'd say. Curious if to others feel the same?

These are a couple from a very nice morning yesterday. Life does in Maine does not suck!

Nice pictures Dan. I was out yesterday morning on my 'yak. Beautiful day to be on the water - but no fish love. Glad you had success.

Worst season in years up here north of Portland. A gorgeous coast though.

Casco Bay has been very good to me this year!!!!! a few period of a off bite but there where plenty of targets..... if you are fishing your same old haunts as last year you might want to pay attention to water temps and where the bait is at,,,,, also have squid flies!!!!

Didn't start fishing much before mid July this year but have been finding fish about as plentiful as last year. Nothing of much size yet but usually can scare up a fish or two when the tides are right.

Tom,
Good to see you're getting out. Hope you're on the road to a healthy recovery.

Ron
