New to stripers in maine. Not new to fishing (fly or otherwise). Need a spot or two to take my wife who decided fishing was fun. She will be spin fishing until I can convert her...

Don't need your private spots, just suggestions as to where to get started.

Nearly any river mouth or rocky point near deep water from the Kennebec River south can yield stripers. From there north, they become a bit more spotty. Beaches can also be good. Where and when alewives are present- upriver near the first dam or set of falls can also be productive this time of year.
