We are tying the Grizzly Wulff Dry Fly next Thursday night (2/6). This bushy, buoyant, and highly visible fly is a perfect searching pattern for Springtime waters in Maine. You know those days ....when a cold wind ruffles the water surface, when the stream is swollen from overnight rains, and the water is turbid and rough…..that’s the time to go for this big fly.

The Grizzly Wulff with its deer hair wing and extravagant hackles brings a unique large imprint to the water’s surface that attracts a trout’s attention. Our Maine trout are opportunists by nature and normally will not pass up such a substantial meal. Come on out and join us for this event.

The reservations for a seat at our Tying Tables have been sold out for several weeks; we are FULL. However, we do encourage you to join us for gallery seating where we can accommodate folks who would like to sit in on or participate in our tying discussion.

We start promptly at 7:00pm in the Learning Center on the second floor of our Hunt / Fish Store
