On Thursday evening (at 7:00 in the H/F Store ) we are tying and talking about Caddis Larvae . All of the reserved spots for tying instruction are filled, however we are offering gallery seating for folks who would like to sit in on the presentation.

There are 1200 species of Caddis in North America, a little more double the number of mayflies. As a result caddis larvae, pupae, and adults make up the greater portion of insects in a Trout’s diet here in Maine. We’ll share with you the simple patterns and tying techniques you can use to expand or replenish your stock of caddis flies.
