In 2017 FFIM formed a partnership with the USF&W dept here in Maine and as a result we took possession of 3 stream temperature loggers and installed them on 3 Downeast streams - in November of 2018 we received 1 more, for a total of 4. Last Saturday we went out and uploaded the data from those loggers & also tidied up the host streams - next, we will upload that data to a regional data warehouse (SHEDS) where it can be accessed by researchers, biologists, policy makers, etc., anywhere, for any purpose - stay tuned for some fun facts and figures gleaned from this data!

Yes KI! If you follow the link below, you can check out the Public Data Viewer - just zoom into the map anywhere and click on an active station (blue dot) then scroll down a bit and you will see all of the temp data that has been uploaded for that station - none of FFIM's stations are visible on this map - be patient and I'll mention a few factoids we've collected that are notable (to me anyway). Enjoy & tight lines!
