Wife talked me into camping there over memorial day weekend and dammit, that is prime fishing time! Problem is, I can't seem to find any spots around there that isn't salt water. Anyone have any suggestions? Definitely not asking for secret spots, just some general known waters maybe?

Thanks for any intel.

Most of the small streams in the area will have a few small, native trout kicking around. Find one to your liking and bring a small stream rod. Or- make the drive to the St. George and fish for stockers there. Good luck.

If you're bound to the immediate camden area I would try the megunticook river or lake for bass. Both are waaay better in a canoe, kayak or motorboat (river is canoe/kayak only, lake would take all three). If you put in below the damn at the little park at the outlet you will have access to some excellent bass water for a good distance downstream. Historically they've stocked it as well but not sure current status. The lake is a good fishery, it trolls well for big rainbows and some salmon but in my experience the big bass are the reason to go there.

You can also try the Ducktrap for brookies. It's hit or miss, whether you will find them, but it can fish well. Barbless flies--you will hook salmon parr and you want to be able to release them as simply as possible. If you are catching salmon, you are not likely to find trout in the same water, so move on.
