Well, it started bad at GLS, and stayed that way for all of April. To say we did poorly would be understatement. We caught a single here, and a long cast single there...the dam pool was holding very few fish, and most live in the center way out. Then the water came. 2200CFS is screaming in that small river. BUT, would high water draw fish in?

Yes. WhileI would not say the fishing is GOOD, it isn't bad in the areas we can get to at 900CFS. I know people who use canoes to cross and fish the Tub, and did well. I personally walked the lower river from the Tub to the wire bridge...saw suckers. 2 salmon caught.

Both lakes are doing very well, and we used boats on Saturday. Trolling and casting, we had a decent morning. The people using real smelts were pounding fish.

When the water drops, it will be totally ON...but until it does, it is good to be tall.

Hutch
