Trying to get away from pouring gas in equipment. I've seen these hand held battery operated pumps for around $20. Does anyone have a recommendation or has used one of these pumps. Any info appreciated.

I have not, but have used a hand pump to fill small tanks, and a siphon for large amounts from gas cans to fill the truck or boat tanks.

This siphon is excellent for large volumes. It will move more fuel than you want into a chainsaw or other small tank, but if you want to get a 5 gallon gas can into the truck in a minute or two, it's great. Just stick the end with metal ball bearing in the gas can, put the other end into what you are trying fill, and pump it up down a few times to get the fuel running. As long as the can is higher than what your are filling, it will flow.

These are slower. I've had trouble with the hoses being crimped out of the package and them not working well.
