Anyone know if the ice is out up there yet? I'm guessing not but wondering if its breaking up at least. Any help is appreciated.

Typically goes out 2-3 before Rangeley Lake. I’m guessing you have a few more weeks. Sebago for reference went ice free this past Wednesday.

Maine DOC has both this year's and historical ice out information here: https://www.maine.gov/dacf/parks/water_activities/boating/ice_out_dates.shtml

The "this year" information is often a day or two behind actual events, but it's pretty up-to-date.

FWIW, I drove up towards Belgrade and Rome today, and lakes in the Belgrades are not all out yet. Long Pond will probably go today or tomorrow. On Long Pond and Great Pond, parts of the lake were open and parts still iced in. Minnehonk was open at the north end by the inlets, but the south end still solidly iced.

If you use that link and look to the right of the page there are some links listed to some webcams. Check out the one for Rangeley area lakes.
