Spent yesterday afternoon fishing in the drizzle Started fishing CDC Emergers and having a ball unfortunately(reluctantly) switching over to streamers.A greased Kiwi Muddler was just what the doctor ordered as the rain picked up and the wind started blowing. |

Do you use just natural zonked or do you tie them in other colors also. Nice looking brookie. Ron |

I confess its not a pattern that I tie,but always keep a half dozen. Think that they would be great tied using olive or black zonker and deer hair head to match. I have been using them in the natural colors. A great fly for fall. |

Can't argue with your success. I have had much luck with a Turck's Tarantula just after first frosts when there are a few hoppers left (meat and potatoes) for fish to target. Its not too difficult a fly to tie as I tie on # 12, but does involve spinning some deer hair |
