Yes, did the twisted body, but maybe need to give it another shot. I am just a total sucker for Biots or quill bodies. Don’t buy those expensive quills, just use string hackle and a pack of sharpies.

I also agree that you need lots of them... I do try to revive mine. It is a two part process, once into the shaker that is half crystal desecsnt and half Frogs Fanny, then I use the brush on the wing from a separate FF bottle. Using the shaker first reduces the time and waste. They are high maintenance though, they catch lots of fish, but not a fly for when the dinks are hitting every drift.

I can attest to the fish attracting power of Jeff’s CDC ties. Have some from a West Branch Conclave. Now I understand about the issue with basically a one catch fly. Do use TGIF’s shaker method and get maybe 2 fish per fly. Also thanks for tying tip Jeff.
