Now I have to get a new one and fill it fast. Besides the standard elk hair in all of the colors what are some of your favorite caddis fly patterns? I have always done well with Goddards so that will be one that gets in the new box.

CDC caddis either with elk or deer over wing, or straight CDC.

Easy, inexpensive, durable and they catch fish.

Thanks all. I have one more place to check as I can’t find a pair of waders too and hoping the caddis box is in the pocket (assuming I can find the waders)!

Interesting looking fly. I'm going to tie up 10 or so and try them.

I like the peacock caddis and a foam caddis and a headlight caddis for caddis dries. And I love the X caddis and plain stimmies.

On the streams I fish in the summer, if you are fishing a stimulator followed by a parachute Adams and not moving some fish, you're thinking something is off.
