Interesting science blurb that crossed my desk this AM. Obviously, we wouldn’t do this for brook trout in their native range, but I wonder if it would work for other species of invasive fish?

In the words of King Edward Longshanks in the movie Braveheart, “If we can’t drive them out, we’ll breed them out.” It didn’t work so well for the fictitious king in the end, but does it have a place in fisheries management?
