Location: flatland and Vienna Me.
In the Rangeley area, I saw some caddis and the guy I was fishing with told me there were March browns (didn't put my glasses on) and a March brown emerger was the ticket. First fish on a new fiberglass 3-4wt was a Brookie about 16" and a more after that. Also saw some large white flies that I couldn't identify.

Large Black Carpenter ants falling at mouth of a small brook. Big fall fish stacked up there were slurping the ants up. Talk about guilty pleasures for a trout angler......
