Don't forget the bloater festival that happens about a month after the smelt fry - naturally, it coincides with the alewife run...the Downeast Salmon Federation is a great organization that deserves our support!

Spent the afternoon in Columbia Falls

What a turnout for a cold blustery day. Lines stretched out into the lobby at the Wreaths Across America Gym, no one seemed to mind as it was well worth the wait. :)

The D.S F Mobile Smoker was also on hand with a assortment of smoked goodies including
Smelt , Salmon and what seemed to be the favorite of the day Bloater :!:
Which is just as tasty as it looks
