 Post subject: making a parachute post

This maybe a tip to some, but I'm sure others already do this. I found that when tying in a poly yarn post I put a very small dab of super glue when finishing the figure 8's. This does two things for me:
!st it helps hold the two pieces together.
2nd and this is the real help to me, it stiffens that post up and helps hold the post in position.

To some this is old news, but after watching several tying videos I didn't see this included. So I'll pass it on as it really helped my tying.

As an addition, I like to tie my parachute hackle into my post. The quill of the hackle helps to stiffen the post, and it allows for the hackle to be wrapped top-down as opposed to up and then down. I find that this helps neaten up and simplify what I find to be kind of a fiddly process.
