We are fortunate to have Sean McCormick from Blue Heron Fly Fishing be our Special Guest Tier on January 9th. Sean has been tying flies and fly fishing since his middle school days...and he has built a substantial reputation for fly fishing and conservation in his Blue Heron Fly Fishing business for the past 18 years. While he specializes in trips on the Kennebec ( Bingham, Solon, Shawmut and the Waterville to Sidney stretch), he also leads wade trips on the Sheepscot and floats some stillwater lakes and ponds for the “evening rise”.
While Sean will instruct and lead us in tying two crafty flies, ....Lafontaine’s Orange Double Wing and a Cahill Sparkle Dun....you had better believe that you will also capture some of his spirit, as well as garner some of Sean's tips, notes, and techniques from his time on the water.
Gray Ghosts is an outreach group of the Sebago Chapter of Trout Unlimited made up of some ladies, some gentlemen, and a couple of kids that enjoy gathering to further the craft of Fly Tying
Starting promptly at 6:30 pm, at and courtesy of the First Parish Congregational Church in Yarmouth, we invite you to join us.....for reservations or questions write firstname.lastname@example.org
