Checked the weather, looked great. Checked the flows for the weekend perfect. North bound with fly rods, cold beer and a smile. Head to spot to fish and the flow chart lied, river was blasted with water. I don't understand how the water companies can put info up and than do what they want. Why post something if your not going to do what you posted. Went to another river no water. Another spot had 13 fisherman in a pool. Drank a beer and decided to go home. As I'm driving down a hill I notice the brakes are weak. So I have to drive home with very weak brakes. Great to be up country, but not a break to be had. 24 hours approximately 600 miles and home.

Bill, that's a bummer, but it might be due to the predicted 3-5" of rain coming Tuesday night?

Bummer.
I think the power companies issue a warning with their flow reports stating, and I'm paraphrasing here, that scheduled releases are just an advisory and water levels can change rapidly at any time. Rare though unscheduled releases may be, if you're fishing a tailwater it is probably best to be prepared for anything.
Better luck next trip!

Man, that's definitely a bummer, not to mention, risky, as you also had a busted break. Thos guys should be more accurate about what they post.
