Hi guys, where do you store your fishing rods in your truck? I've seen some racks/holders made of PVC tubes and they look nice though I need something that is more secured. I saw these Duha truck accessories that are designed to be placed underneath the back seat. Does anyone have this kind of storage? There's also the Decked truck bed storage system but it is really expensive. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I've seen a couple of pretty slick homemade units that slide out of pickup beds. One was compartmented with lined spots for fully rigged rods. Spots for reels, fly boxes, etc. It was the full center bed width and about 6" deep. It would slide out and was lockable. Plus he had room on top to carry other things. The guy has had it in a couple different trucks. He was a carpenter by trade.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think Decked truck bed storage units are similar to it, though this product is expensive.

personally I love mine:

3 seasons now. Never have to unstring the rods. Basically they live in there from April to Nov.
