Is the trolling on Eagle Lake for Salmon and Lake Trout still good by the 1st weekend in June?

I'm assuming you mean Eagle Lake up in the County? A lot will depend on when ice out occurs. My experience has been fishing is generally good on lakes for a week following ice out, but then goes through 2 weeks or so of doldrums before getting good again. I'm guessing ice out up there will be late- but there are a lot of variables.

It's not Eagle Lake, but I have a late May/early June trip I take every year. I've been on Allagash Lake for that trip and also on a smaller togue/brook trout/whitefish lake that's better left unnamed and had spectacular trolling for togue and the occasional brookie in that time frame. Eagle Lake, being larger, likely warms up a little more slowly.

One of my favorite Maine fishing experiences was a 45 minute Maine Grand Slam--a togue in the 10 lb range, a 19" brook trout, and a lake whitefish. Sadly the lake whitefish in that lake may now be on their way out due to a smelt introduction.
